Below is a video of a new band we recently added to our list of entertainment. Particularly versatile and energetic, “BRIGHT” achieves results when the goal is to pack the dance floor.

Karaoke is fun, but, when you’re looking for something different, Lip-Sync à la the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”, is the new way to take the stage and be a star. This corporate group had an absolute blast!


We produced an amazing program at the Hilton Anaheim in California. Adjacent to Disneyland, this 1500 room hotel had a huge amount of event space. We needed to provide a program for three different ballroom areas on the first and second floors of the property.

The first was a VIP room with very limited guest list. A delicious buffet was complemented by our very entertaining strolling magician and a superb caricature artist. For the large number of other guests, one ballroom featured our “Green Screen Video” process which enables each guest to be a dance superstar. The lines to participate were out the door all night. Those waiting for their turn were able to enjoy the performance on two giant video screens on either side of the room.

The third ballroom featured Avalon’s “San Diego Band”. We only wish the video could truly capture the electricity and excitement of throngs of people responding to the band’s energy. Needless to say, the evening was a huge success and the client was thrilled that we exceeded expectations.

We really appreciate our clients who allow us to pursue our passion for great events. It is so rewarding to provide amazing experiences to attendees in markets across the country and worldwide.


If you are looking for something rousing to open a General Session, or an exciting show for a reception or banquet, Avalon’s drum line is just the thing to energize an audience. Fast paced and choreographed, our drum line even has an audience participation segment. While this video will provide a sense of the fun,.the live performance is electrifying!


In addition to the many theme events offered by Avalon, we are always happy to create custom experiences for clients. We recently produced a 1980s theme party with a fun twist, adding a “Revenge of the Nerds” to a frat party ambiance. Guests had a blast. Many wore great costumes. Between the 80s music, games,(including a “SUMO” competitition), characters, and costumed guests really getting into it, the evening exceeded our client’s expectations. One of the advantages of contracting with a DMC is their expert knowledge of a destination. That includes unique and amazing venues such as the one pictured here. Located in Phoenix, this venue has an amazing capacity of up to 1500 guests and includes state of the art A/V along with flexible menus, décor, and entertainment choices, Avalon provides a turnkey package which includes round trip transportation and full coordination by our staff. Avalon was asked to create a Soccer stadium atmosphere in a small space. The right decor magically transforms any space into a theme experience. Using artificial “turf”, soccer ball balloon columns, soccer goals, pennants and life size soccer player figure decals for the walls, the guests were able to enjoy this soccer field atmosphere. Karaoke was the highlight of the evening as the guests were both soccer stars and American Idols.


Avalon just had its first program at the new Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley. It is a new incarnation of Marriott’s Mountain Shadows. The original opened in 1959, was sold to Marriott in 1981, and closed in 2004. Avalon had many friends at the old hotel and enjoyed working with many clients there. It was gratifying to arrange transportation for a client a few weeks ago. The new Mountain Shadows maximizes the stunning surroundings, incredible views and breathtaking vistas. You can see a view from the lobby where Avalon’s Alysia Baron is ready to assist guests with boarding. The Conference Service Manager, Deirdre James happens to be an old friend and, as always, was great to work with.

As a Destination Management Company, Avalon has many components in its portfolio. One of our favorites is Teambuilding.

We recently provided a custom scavenger hunt on May 4 and themed it around Cinco De Mayo. Incorporating Arizona’s western heritage with the popular Mexican holiday, costumed staff in cowboy and Dia de los Muertos attire delighted the guests and helped with many memorable photos.

Our fun loving “Sheriff” explained all the rules and criteria for the hunt, and they really had to work together to accomplish their mission. While some of the hunt items may sound impossible (get your picture taken with a bull), they are not. Teams had to use their imagination, their maps, and a lot of ingenuity to get the task done. The first team to meet the “Sheriff” back at the meeting point with the most “missions accomplished” were the winners, and they got to take home a themed prize.
